Leonardo Da Vinci did not live in a dream world as a child, because his parents were't leagally together. He grew up and shared his childhood with neither of them. Little is known about his first five years of life, but at the age of five he was living in the small town of Vinci with his grandfather. Leonardo's uncle Francesco soon became his friend after he started living in Vinci, and his uncle was described as a lazy man and good for nothing. Early in Leonardo Da Vinci's childhood he showed an amazing natural talent for drawing. Soon after he was the apprentice of Andrea Verrocchio and his skill was increasing rapidly. At the age of twenty Leonardo finally left Vinci and went to Milan in search of work, since the ruler of nearby Florence hated art. |
